Slowly morphing since 2009 and growing up as Appalachians on the outskirts of Roanoke, Virginia comes the Riverbank Ramblers. An eclectic group of individuals bring to the table creative song writing and high energy performances. The Ramblers have created a rich, heavy sound that is Old Country in its roots, Rock N’ Roll at the base, and branches out to touch on many diverse genres. Their original songs are steeped in tales true and tall, of hard living, hearts broken, and lives taken. Whether it's a honky-tonk love song, or a heavy rock-n-roll number, these tunes will get out of your seat & on your feet. This four piece band...with the occasional wild card player...has become a tight knit group of friends that are always ready to hit the stage with their extensive catalog of original songs and an electric mix of covers. With the release of the bands latest album, Muddy Banks, the Ramblers have been burning up the road and building a loyal following!
"Muddy Banks” is the bands second full length album and was released in January of 2014. Muddy Banks consists of 13 of the bands popular original tunes and is full of the rich unique sound that the band has created. It features some local and talented guests, including Shannon Wheeler on fiddle, Robby Carden on harmonica, John Stump on trumpet, and Devin Fallen on trombone. Recorded in the beautiful mountains of Catawba, VA at Catawba Sound Studio by Wayne Weikel. With Anthony Hylton providing the hand-painted artwork that covers the album sleeve and disc. Muddy Banks continues to open many doors for the band as they push to be heard by many.
